The Unique EP-950 Features
Smooth Back Board
What we really like about the EP-950 is the low friction back. Lower end tables can feel a bit ‘sticky’. The smooth surface of the Teeter makes finding the perfect position very easy, you can quickly shuffle into a the right place. Also becuase of the low friction you are really stretching out the back. If the board is sticking then its taking some of your weight and not providing as an effective treatment.
Ratchet ankle lock system
When you are trusting your safety to a product like this you really need to feel secure. This is why we really liked the ratchet ankle system. Lower end tables use Velcro to attach you to the table. The ratchet system on the EP-950 is like fitting a pair of ski boots. You are not coming out until you are ready, however they are well cushioned to provide a comfortable and confidence inspiring fit. The last thing you want to be worrying about is whether you will slip out. You definitely don’t get this feeling with the Teeter.
There are a few extra accessories that comes with the teeter like the Lumber Bridge and Acupuncture Nodes. For me they are essential, I have a sore shoulder and really like to grind in there with the pressure nodes! Its a shame they are not included. Still I can use my tennis balls, and even squash balls work well.
How the Teeter Hang Ups EP-950 Operates:
The EP-950 is one of the most sophisticated inversion table in the Teeter Range. Featuring all the features of the lower end models, plus a few enhancements that makes this one really stand out.
This is an incredibly simple table to use, and if you are familiar with this type of table can be operated with just one person. For safety reasons we would always suggest having someone else in ear-shot just in case of an unlikely problem.
Safety Pin Lockout
The Teeter Hang Up features a clever safety pin that allows the table to rotate to a maximum of 4 inverted positions. Each position will help with easing pressure on different parts of the body. You can choose from a gentle incline to near to
tal inversion, as you can see from the image the ranges go from 20 degrees up to 80 degrees from horizontal.
Setting up the machine is incredibly simple, it does require some self assembly. In our research we have never had any issues with parts being missing or any real difficulties in the assembly. In fact most people seemed to have this assembled within about an hour. One down side of this machine is minor, however the quality of the tools is not great. If you have a basic 13mm wrench and socket then you will have a much easier time completing the assembly.
Will it help your back pain?
There is never really a silver bullet for back pain, as everyone needs are different and you should consult a physician before starting any inversion table treatment. However many users have tried this table, and found that has been positive for managing the pain of trapped nerves and general pain in the back.
