I loved IDEAL bars!! NABISCO, WHY DID YOU STOP MAKING THEM???!!! Without a doubt we would find them. I miss Lemon Coolers and My Dad Harold Hourihan more! Midnight munchies were also a time to slip away to savor these delectable treats. I would buy them in a second if they were around, and I have pretty much sworn off all sugar. We looked so forward to going to the store and getting a couple packs to share. Thanks a bunch, Nabisco. DON'T cheapen the ingredient deck! I have thought for years that they would come back. Bring them back to way up north in Maine!! I had no idea there were so many Ideal Bar fans out there. TOO. She said they were expensive so we couldn't always get them, but I always tried. I still see these on the shelf but not the Ideal Bar. That is absurd in a world where Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are one of Hershey's #1 sale items. Get them home intact, if possible, refrigerate or freeze, get a glass of ice cold milk, or fresh brewed tea, and eat, a little touch of Heaven! I still have the scar and it reminds me of these wonderful cookies everyday. I remember them well. Please, Nabisco, bring them back! The woman I spoke with was quite nice as I recall but had no answer as to why they had discontinued the product. She would always get furious as to why we were sneaking hers when we had our own. Nothing taste as good as the ideal cookie. I thought it was a heat issuenope. We'd save our allowance to buy them and they didn't last more than a half hour once we got them home. There will always be room in this world for more chocolate and peanut butter. There is a whole new generation that would love them. Now I found Little Debbies has a larger bar named Crunch that taste like the Ideal cookies. My Mom and I were just talking about Ideal cookies. Get the word out and maybe, just maybe we'll see the BEST cookie resurrected. Nabisco, please bring them back!!! These cookies popped into my head the other night, it's unfortunate that they are not made anymore. Maybe they cost too much for the average consumer but we average consumers have changed and will gladly pay for quality. So many people would buy them just for the memories. THEY WERE THE BEST. Come on you guys bring them back. They, too, were far superior to ANYTHING available today!!!! i loved the ideal bars, tagalongs are good, also little debbie has a good one, peanut butter bars almost the exact of the ideal bar, i always wipe that one off the shelf, bring back the ideal bar nabisco.
