It seems that stepping has become one of the most common forms of indoor exercise. Its hardly surprising, they are small enough for even the smallest flat, yet they are still versatile enough to give a great workout.
Because of the type of workout (unlike long sesson on a treadmill) there is no impact on joints, which is great news if you cannot run! What I like about stepping is it its simplicity, just put one foot down, then the other. The built in resistance will ensure that your heart gets a great workout. If you have 5 minutes or an hour you can sue that time effectively to squeeze in a workout.

Is this a stepper or an elliptical?
Sunny have describe this as a mini elliptical machine, and its easy to see why they have made that comparison. The action is very much like an elliptical machine. Combine the up and down movement with the side to side, lateral, movement and you have a very versatile stepper.
There is another trick up the sleeve of the Twister Stepper. By integrating the elasticated resistance training bands to the machine you can still target the workout on not just your legs but also your arms and shoulders.
Build Quality
Constructed from heavy steel, the twister stepper is strong enough for users up to 250lbs. Both footplates are finished in safe, non slip rubber that looks durable enough for a good few years use.
Console:
Personally I don’t really see the need for a console on a step machine, its nice to see one included but it is a little small for reading when stepping away. The Sunny Twist and Stepper console is certainly better than others, the top end stepper does not even have one!

This is an incredibly popular product, and has attracted hundreds of user reviews. On average users have given the twister stepper a great 4.3 stars out of five.
Users love the simplicity of the machine, being able to pull it out of a cupboard and start exercising straight away. Lots of people seem to like using the Stepper while watching TV. Occasionally, it seems, that it becomes a little noisy, this is easily fixed with a little spray of oil.
Any negatives?
Apart from the odd squeak, some people say the pedals can be a little on the small side, if you are a size 11 shoe then it might be a tight squeeze.
